Description and Features

Based on the success of the LRTV, operational feedback from users, and a continuous improvement approach, the HRTV – a lightweight, multifunctional, long-range binocular system that provides operators with top-end situational awareness and advanced connectivity in the battlefield – was developed. Fully-integrated in less than 4.4 lbs (including battery), the HRTV meets the most demanding expectations of dismounted operators – including Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP).

      24/7 Observation HRTV provides increased situational awareness at any time thanks to the integration of three complementary long range video channels:
    • Cooled Thermal
    • Color Day
    • Low-Light Level

    • Operators using the HRTV benefit from extended observation and target location capabilities through the new Low-Light Level channel, such as:
    • positive identification from full daylight down to moonlight
    • high contrast observation in low-light conditions – including during dawn and dusk
    • decamouflage capabilities thanks to its extended wavelength out of human eye sensitivity/range
    • See-Spot By using the IR/Low-Light Level (LLL) fusion mode, operators have the capability to visualize their own and other battlefield laser pointers and Laser Target Designators operating in near infrared — offering increased accuracy and effectiveness in missions.
